Travelling to compete in the largest and most exciting youth tournament on the planet. The Gothia Youth World Cup in the beautiful city of Gothenburg, Sweden. Jack Wilshere’s NCF Elites squads will travel to and from the tournament and room together, in proper world cup fashion. 3,500 teams from 78 different countries will be competing for the chance to win The Gothia Youth World Cup and be crowned champions of the youth world.
U15s Captain Romario said ‘We have grown so close as a group and that was proved by our performances in Sweden at the Gothia Youth World Cup. I would like to thank all my team for their efforts. We will all remember this experience for a very long time’.
Jack Wilshere’s NCF Elites travel to Gothia for one reason, football. However, there is more than enough time for the players, coaches and parents travelling to have some bonding time and Gothia has plenty of entertainment to do to keep all travelling parties stimulated once the football for the day finishes. The players will enjoy the fabulous Heden Centre, any young football players paradise, which includes 6 fully artificial football pitches which are installed purely for the tournament, in the middle of the city centre. For Adults, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and nightclubs for you to enjoy (just make sure you are on the side-line the next day, supporting with or without a hangover!).
What does Gothia give our JW’s NCF Elites Players? Learning is the most important process in life and our players will leave Sweden with lifelong memories and friendships, as well as an even better understanding of why teamwork, responsibility, equal opportunity and having fun across borders are important.
