Finally the 1st February arrived and players were sent confirmation as to whether or not they had been selected to represent NCF Elites and England at the biggest tournament on the planet. The Gothia Youth World Cup.

Nick Cook said ‘This is both an exciting time in the process but also a tough time. Some players receive great news and others not so great. We wish those players that didn’t make it the very best of luck ad encourage them to attend again next year. Those that did make the squad, understand the real hard work begins now.’

It has been a tough process that the players have been put through, with high expectations placed on their shoulders each week to perform. We now enter an intense 5 month preparation process involving, matches, training, strength & conditioning, fitness testing & of course the renowned Elites Extreme challenge.

July the 14th sees these boys fly to Sweden and they will be ready to take on the World.
