Elites will ‘Wear it Pink’.

On Friday 18th October we will be hosting a charity training session at our Enfield and Letchworth Centres to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer and Wear it Pink.

Players and parents we will need you to arrive in a pink top to help support such a fantastic cause.

Our girls centre will also be invited to either Enfield or Letchworth to join in for this important evening.

We are delighted to have teamed up with Charity ‘Wear it Pink‘ and we look forward to a fun evening .

Elites Director Paul Johnson said ‘ most of us have been touched by this horrific disease at some point in our lives, so we are keen to do our bit to raise money and awareness’.

Breast Cancer Now’s wear it pink day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.

And since our first event in 2002, together we’ve raised over £33 million for our vital research. Research that’s working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.

Pictures and write up will follow.
