On Thursday 7th November NCF Elites 14s head down the A406 for a another fixture against Arsenal‘s at the prestigious Hale End Academy. This will, once more provide a great opportunity for our player’s to test themselves up against the very best. Arsenal Academy are renowned for producing attacking teams, they recruit quick and technical player’s who are all exceptional in one on one situations. NCF Elites boys will need to be both physically and mentally switched on. Per Mertesacker who is the Head of the Academy continues to develop the Arsenal set-up, making it one of the strongest in the UK.

 

Paul Johnson said ‘Firstly, we would like to thank Arsenal for these great opportunities.. Our Elite squads can only learn from experiences of this calibre. We have a strong group of player’s who will represent us well and give 100%. We will ask our boys to be confident, to impose themselves both individually and as a team. Key, is not to fear making mistakes. Chances like this are what every young player should be striving for’. 

On the 14th November NCF Elites 15s will challenge the Arsenal 14s in a fixture.. Last season the Elites boys put on a real good show against the Arsenal Juniors losing 4 v 2 but showing some real quality. Remi Johnson scoring two that day.

 

Nick Cook said ‘We were delighted with how our lads performed last season against Arsenal. As you would expect, Arsenal dominated possession but when we did get the chance to play, we took it, and were always in the game. This group of player’s have come along way since then, however I’m sure Arsenal have as well’.
