On Wednesday 20th February NCF Elites look forward to warmly welcoming MLS Academy New England Revolution teams to our home in Enfield. The Americans have flown over to the UK for a week long tour and as a partnership club to Tottenham Hotspur the Americans will be holding a number of football clinics at the Spurs training Ground.

Esselle Sports Steve Rigby said ‘These are a very strong group of teams coming to England. This is a huge learning opportunity for the American boys and they will show how strong ‘soccer’ is getting in the States.

NCF Elites have competed against a number of American teams in the past through their partnership with Esselle Sports. 3 years ago the Elites boys took on Colorado Rapids in their preparation for Gothia. A comfortable 5 v 1 win on the day to the Elites but a great experience for all the boys.

Nick Cook NCF Elites Director said ‘We look forward to another encounter with an American MLS team. This will be a huge test for the boys considering they are still in their infancy as teams, however this kind of calibre of opposition is exactly what helps get us ready for Gothia.
