On Monday evening our U8s travelled down to play against QPR in a 6 aside development match. The structure was 4 periods of 15 minutes. The Elites winning each of those 4 periods. However the result is not the priority. The performance was excellent from the boys from the 1st period through to the last.

Coach on the evening Nick said –

I was so pleased with the boys in all area’s of the game. They worked hard, they looked strong and were brave on the ball. The confidence they showed when in possession was excellent. We scored and created some opportunities that started with the keeper and through a combination of passes the ball ended up in QPR’s goal or very close to it. We continually encourage our player’s to play from the back and these U8s did that with real quality. A fantastic performance. I also have to give a special mention to Freddie our U7s keeper making his debut. What a great performance. He pulled of some great saves and was as brave as a lion.
