We are pleased to announce that former World Cup winner and ex Arsenal player Per Mertesacker will join the NCF Elites at the Premiere of their film ‘Dare to Dream’. Since hanging up his playing boots Per has taken charge of the Arsenal Academy set-up at Hale End. Per won numerous honours whilst playing for Arsenal. These included 3 FA Cup wins. In 2014 Per was a pivotal member of the successful German national team who were victorious in the FIFA World Cup.

Nick Cook said ‘ We are delighted to welcome Per along to our Premiere. He is a huge footballing icon, both in size and stature. He has won the most prestigious tournament on the planet, the World Cup. It is a fantastic privilege to welcome him to our premiere’.

Dare to Dream documents the journey of the Elites players tour to the Gothia Cup in July 2019. It also shows our Letchworth centre in progress as well as our Enfield Girls in action. The film is dedicated towards showing an inspirational journey that our young player’s go through.
